About
Stacy Morrow
I am a communications strategist with nearly twenty years across music, media, and the internet, now a graduate student at the University of Denver in Media and Globalization with a certificate in Public Diplomacy. The long goal is a PhD in mass communication and AI.
Before the program I ran media campaigns for brands including Disney, Hallmark, and Uber, built audiences for artists and venues, and ran Alice in Amsterdam, a media experiment that reached more than 130,000 views across 53 countries. I started in music: street teams, booking, college radio, and harm reduction work with DanceSafe in Denver.
The question under all of it: who owns media, how it sorts people, and what that sorting does to them. From Tulsa, Oklahoma. Based in Denver, Colorado.
Beyond the classroom
My work
Where the theory goes when it leaves the seminar room.
CoolStoryBro
Media criticism on consolidation in music and live entertainment: who owns the stage, the ticket, and the story told about both.
